Small Molecule API/Pharmaceutical Development

With over 30 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery and developments, we assist customers with synthetic route scouting/development and optimization, as well as early-process scale-up of API targets, biosimilar, and drug-like molecules.

Research and Development

We work closely with partners throughout their complete drug discovery and development program, including parenteral drug discovery. With our extensive experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology research and development, we help customers speed up in the synthetic route scouting and optimization of the most complex small molecules, from milligrams to kilograms in our R&D facility. We also offer expertise to those developing unique products that are challenging to formulate. 

Catalogue Compounds

JSI Research offers many drug impurities and pharmaceutical reference standards. We also specialize in Nitrosamines, Peptides, PET tracers, and many others. Additionally, our inventory has an extensive range of research chemical compounds, including reference materials, process impurities, degradants & metabolites of APIs, natural products, diagnostic imaging reagents, and various chemical building blocks. Certificate of Analysis (CoA) 

We confirm the purity of the product by giving you a certificate of analysis (COA). In our COA, we include HPLC, NMR, MS, FT-IR, water and residual solvent content, and other assays if requested. Please note that all purities are given on a dry basis. Purity does not include water or solvent that may be present. These quantities will be listed separately on the COA when applicable.

The bulk of impurities are characteristics of the relevant synthetic route of the manufacturing process. There are numerous paths to synthesizing a drug, it is possible that the identical product of different sources can produce different impurities. With over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical APIs and impurities, we can offer custom synthesis of complex organic compounds for use as pharmaceuticals standards, impurities, degradation products and other drug-like molecules for pharmaceutical and bio-medical industries with uncompromised quality. Small-scale Process Research and Scale-up

Tailored Biomedical Polymers

Description automatically generatedWe have more than 20 years of hands-on experience in synthesizing biodegradable polymers, novel polymers for biomedical applications, and hydrogels for safe drug delivery. These materials have various medical device applications (ISO13485). 
Over the decades, we have been engaged in developing several major innovative procedures, including new hydrogels and silicone photopolymer initiators, ionomers, anti-biofouling polymers, functionalized biopolymers, emulsions and nano-emulsions, coagulants and flocculants, biopolymers for liquid Redox Sulfer Recovery (LRSR) process, wound-healing polymers, and antibody discoveries, among many others.

Metabolites

They may also measure a drug’s effectiveness or monitor drug toxicity. We have extensive experience in metabolite research, and we have already developed a broad range of metabolites in our inventory that can help our customers study various metabolic events and disorders. Conjugates

Description automatically generatedAntibody–drug conjugate (ADC) is composed of a monoclonal antibody (mAbs) which is covalently attached to a cytotoxic drug via a chemical linker. It constitutes both the advantages of the highly specific targeting ability and, at the same time, a highly potent killing effect to yield accurate and efficient elimination of cancer cells. This has become one of the hotspots for the research and development of many drugs, particularly anticancer drugs. We are specialists in antibody development, purification, and the study of antibody-drug conjugates (ADC).
